I watched the first English-speaking movie from Wong Kar Wai titled “My Blueberry Nights” when I was in high school. What I have in mind at that time was “why there’s no place like this at Jakarta?”
So I started to built my own coffeeshop with words. I made up some short stories with the same place as the setting. This coffeeshop. The coffeeshop that I named : “Blue Romance”.
The tagline is “every stories has its own coffee”. Every stories in my book will have a cup of coffee. Different chapter/story, different coffee. You might find some characters from previous story on the next stories as cameo. The format of this book is more or less the same like omnibus movies. My publisher called this book as an omnibus formated book, or omnibook . :)
